10 Fabulous Valentines DIY Projects
It can be pretty easy to spend a small fortune on Valentine’s day, so I am on an endeavour to find cheaper alternatives, and what better than totally handmade projects?! Today I want to share 10 of my favourite DIY finds for Valentines Day.
There’s a project here for every budget, but I did try to find cheaper versions! The image above is a mailing bag made from a cereal box! I added some cross stitch to a lovely cupcake gift box to fill with delicious goodies and give to my love!
This is a better view of the mail bag from Minted blog! I love the whole set up of this little photo shoot; it’s adorable, and it’s a great way to involve your kids in valentine’s day!
I love those colourful fans! I’d love to have them all around my craft room.
This Pinata mailer is such a unique and fun project to make for valentines! Pack it full of chocolate and send it my way! All you need is a papier mache heart shaped gift box, fringe scissors (which are freakin amazing by the way, I have a blue pair) and some red tissue or crepe paper!
I haven’t eaten Love Heart sweets in years. I’ve noticed that these things are called Conversation Hearts in the States, but I digress! These are some rather beautiful gift boxes courtesy of Damask Girl.
I adore this little Love Heart banner! I realise they aren’t quite the traditional Love Heart sweeties but I don’t know if we have these in the UK. I could be mistaken. This is a printable banner and all you have to do is string it up! It’s available in Spanish and English so get printing.
I adore these painted, bead drink stirrers! They’re rather fabulous ^_^ I love the little wooden hearts and beads used on wooden kebab sticks used to create these long drinks stirrers and decorated with some pretty paint colours.
Adorable DIY gift wrapping by Agata of Passion Shake blog for heart handmade uk!
This little DIY is particularly adorable, and I got very excited because it’s a Victorian Valentines Booklet, I’m a huge fan of mini albums of all kinds.
This DIY is for papercraft lovers everywhere! Paper hearts are very simple to create, and you can get the full tutorial over at How About Orange. All you need is a batch of red card and a pair of scissors!
I get very impressed anytime someone gets out their saw for a diy project, simply because I know I would never be bothered to do something like that! So well done for creating an amazing looking heart from tree branches! I love it!
