10 Terrific DIY Halloween Decorative Party Props!
If you’ve managed to catch up on the blog since my little problem (you guys couldn’t see full posts) has been fixed, you will know how much I love Halloween. I used to always dream of throwing an epic Halloween party, just like the one the parents attend in the movie Hocus Poucus. Complete with pumpkins, props, amazing decorations and everyone wearing unbelievably good fancy dress costumes (I was a weird kid). I’m so lucky to live in an age where craft gawker and pineterest exist, where people can share their amazing DIY tutorials, I’ve found so many fabulous projects that would help you to make the most amazing DIY/Handmade Halloween party!
I found several tutorials for DIY Poison bottles, so I thought I would share 3. These potion bottles with the liquid are great! All 3 come with free pintable’s (click here to see my post – Halloween pintable’s from the other day)
I like the painted effect on this poison bottle and the free label is very spooky.
These little mini poison bottles are soooo cute! These would be perfect for a more child-oriented party. I hope you can see why I’ve included all 3!
For a party catered to adults, this black pumpkin candleholder would make great, chic Halloween décor. I love the black candles too! Those are a nice touch.
This branch spider web prop is a fabulous touch! The branch coming out of the wall is especially effective and adds a rather spooky touch.
How amazing does this ghost look?! It’s a relatively simple process compared to what I thought it could possibly involve. I love these. They could look amazing if you made a few and put them on the front porch.
I love these crows. They make an incredible prop and something makes these little fluffy crows rather adorable! I love the black typewriter, that’s a fabulous Halloween prop also.
Every front door should have a Halloween wreath! The kiddies would love it.
I do love all the fabulous décor around dia de los muertos and these luminaries are really impressive but really, really easy to make!
I always enjoy a decorative skull at Halloween! And I always welcome glitter into my home (and my hoover). Did you spy those little magic books in the, background?! They look so good!
You could have an epic Halloween party with all or any of these props! I wish I could throw that amazing Hocus Pocus party. Do you think Bette Midler would show up? I’ve been sharing a lot of amazing spell book style tutorials on my social media channels (the links are in the sidebar!) so you should be able to find some pretty easily! I will update my Halloween pinterest board regularly coming up to end of the month! That’s a promise
