10 Wonderful Washi Tape Crafts for Valentine’s Day
If you are new to this blog, you may not know that I am completely and utterly obsessed with all things washi tape related. Especially the washi tape crafts. I know I’m not alone in this, so I’ve created another round-up of incredible washi tape craft ideas for you!
DIY Washi tape wall installation by The Proper Blog
How good does this Washi Tape Heart look on the wall?! I love the fact that it has been done in torn strips instead of long lines. It’s adorable.
Washi Tape Hearts by Carrie Elle
A template wouldn’t amiss wrong either. I would use my Cricut machine to cut out a perfect heart because I’m useless with scissors (due to nerve damage). It’s an absolute lifesaver! Think of how many hearts you could cut at once!
Washi Tape Flowers by Cathe Holden
You could make a mini-Washi Tape bouquet and use it to decorate a tray for breakfast in bed with your beau, or in between you both in the dining room for a Romantic dinner!

Covered Gift Boxes from Making Home Base
If you purchased something quaint and rather lovely for your beau, you could present it in a beautifully decorated heart shaped gift box! Or even a regular square gift box covered in the washi tape hearts shown above!
Popsicle Frames from Eighteen 25
Popsicle crafts are always perfect projects to get the kids involved with! Some crazy tacky glue and lovely wooden scrapbook embellishments set this off beautifully. You could even use a craft knife and cut the ends off, so they become squared. It looks marvellous.
Cupids Arrows by Mimo Sorum (will need to be translated using Google Translate)
Candy arrows would be another great craft to get the kids involved with. I imagine myself with these; I think I would treat them as sweet kebabs and just open my mouth and fill it with sweets. What?! I like sweets!
Such a cute idea if the kiddos were having a little party or something, or giving them to friends or even their little crushes!
Recycled Plastic Bottle Heart Mobile by Oh Oh Blog
This mobile is fabulous! I’ve featured a blogger who did something similar using washi tape. Amaryllis (fantastic name!) of OhOh Blog created this particular mobile using old plastic soda bottles and a red sharpie to create different patterns on the plastic, but it can be equally beautiful with various patterns of washi tape.
Cut Out Heart Frame from Mod Podge Rocks
I’ve featured this project before, but it had to get a mention again because it is so good. If you can find a cut out heart frame, then you could easily get a little one to create the washi frame, even without supervision (which is always a win, right?!).
Valentine’s Card Display by A Night Owl Blog
Kimberly of A Night Owl blog created this fantastic Valentine’s card display DIY project for the Tiny Prints blog. If you aren’t expecting an influx of cards, you could easily create some gorgeous doily decor like Kimberly did, using glitter card, foam sheets and paper heart doilies.
Washi Tape Bunting by Poppy Talk
Can you remember life without washi tape?! I can, just about. Do you remember when washi tape was introduced and you could hardly get it anywhere?! I’m so glad internet shopping exists! Poppy Talk blog created this washi tape bunting back in 2010! Holy smokes! That was seven years ago, and the crafts are still relevant.
I’ve featured some rather incredible washi tape crafts today, are you going to make any for Valentine’s day?
