1.30 Second Coasters from the 36th Avenue
I’ve mentioned before how partial I am to a super quick and easy craft and it doesn’t get much quicker than 30 seconds!
You can source round wooden disks on eBay, Etsy or any local craft store and choose an appropriate spray paint! I purchased my wooden discs on eBay (when I created hand painted coasters for the Handmade Happy Free Craft magazine last summer) and used regular American deco art paint.
Mine probably took a little longer because I used gesso (allowed to dry) then, acrylic paint to paint the background (allowed to dry) and made marks.
Spray paint speeds up the whole process but you are harming the environment with aerosols, and here in the UK you don’t often get dry days where you can take projects out into the fresh air to spray!
2. Super simple fringe fashion necklace from Brit & Co.
As someone who isn’t fashionable at all, I love craft projects like this, I love the fact that my cousins and aunts all like big statement necklaces because these would be a perfect gift idea.
3. DIY geometric necklace from The Merry Thought
This DIY geometric necklace is such a simple tutorial that doesn’t have to cost a lot of money and could be made in under half an hour!
How stinkin’ cute are these planters?! If your mum loves bright colours, then you should make one of these for mother’s day and blow her socks off! Get neon and pastel paints in three or four different colours in your chosen colour palette, some painters tape and get painting!
5. Dollar store notebook By Shanna Noel
I absolutely adore a good budget-friendly DIY project that you can give away as a gift! Customising notebooks is one of my favourite crafts because I am absolutely obsessed with them. There are about 10 on my shelves waiting to be filled, and I can’t wait.
6. 10 Minute Peppermint Soap Bar by Happiness Is Homemade
Soap is a very simple craft, and it can be a great gift, especially if you use pretty colours and use some gorgeous packaging! You can get everything you need in one place and have it delivered asap if you have a Prime account.
It saves you having to leave the house and go into the terror of the town centre to grab what you need. What scents would you use in your soap? I think I might make coconut oil and parma violets oil or even cucumber, but that’s more of a summer scent.
7. Pretty Painted Pencils from Lovely Indeed
Painting pencils or wrapping them in Washi tape is insanely simple to do, it takes all of a couple of minutes and makes a fabulous little gift!
8. Beaded Keychain from Love and Notion
Keychains are another great little gift! I don’t agree with using leather, but that’s because I’m vegan. I would rather use a braided cord. The beads are fabulous, and I love the colour mix.
9. Painted lid ring dish from Paper n Stitch Blog

The Pom-pom bag chain is my favourite! I would love some fluffy pom poms for my bag, made with faux fur. That might be a craft to make for myself in the new year!
The easiest way is by using a Clover pom pom maker.
