I ordered the Beignet pattern AND my fabric (finally) after weeks of deliberation and searching for inspiration I decided Denim was the way to go. However, I may end up making that skirt too.
Here is my fabric selection - I have been watching this type of fabric in my ebay for about a month before i made my decision!
This is my inspiration notebook also :) The picture of the denim skirt is by a Flair to remember on Flickr, i love her style.
I had narrowed it down to my two favourites and thought I would get a lot more wear out of the denim.
Very excited! just need to get the muslin ready!

I've just had a practise run for Beignet and I'm pleased at how it's turned out. Collette patterns are great. I've just got to choose fabric for my 'proper' one now. I love the idea of your skirt in denim - I can't wait to see it.
