What to do with them?! Huh?! Once my vintage saucepan (which you can just about see in the above image) had started to over flow I thought it was about time I organized my scraps!
I have a million patchwork squares left over from the quilt that I made my mum in july so ive used one of the baskets for those squares and ironing!
I have plans! But all items have been ironed and the other basket has the patchwork squares and large off cuts!
Pain in the butt!! I did use some of the patchwork squares in making an iphone case and a camera case. I made my crochet scrappy garland today... its about 4 miles long lol ive no idea how I will photograph this.
How do you organize your fabric and your fabric scraps?
If you saw my post the other day about my wee craft room you would have seen my expedit where all the fabric and scraps indeed live. I'll show you!
If you see the third shelf/middle thats my fabric... beautifully organized and un touched. Slightly ocd and that was through a bad patch and I wasnt sewing because I couldnt cope with mess... but now im all good and have decided to use boxes to store my fabrics in the expedit.
See! Getting more white in my life which is good BUT you should see it as it is now. I am ashamed.. mess... total mess. That middle shelf is the perfect height when im sitting sewing so they get used when Im worked for cups of tea and scissors and random things!

I absolutely covert that Expedit range to sort my own crafty stuff out... one day! As for how do I manage my scraps - I don't, they're stuffed in an overflowing box!
i always seem to make piles of cluttered messiness when i'm trying to create something (grrr)! claire, are you gonna show us all the wonderful things you made with the cute fabric?
