Craft Room Inspiration | Delightful Little Sewing Room from Brothers Borg | Fjledborg

Like most of you..craft rooms make me giddy with excitement. Especially ones full of colour and things I can poke at :p

I love the stacks of fabric, the beautiful shelves and the boards.. although.. I know for a fact I couldn't work in a room like this. It's not that I am overly obsessive about cleaning and tidiness (which I am) the main reason I couldn't work in this type of surrounding is that I am far too easily distracted by anything lol. Ask my mum and all that time I was meant to be studying. "Oh look at that shadow on the wall there.." that was me. So if anything in my wee work room is out of place I get distracted and feel the need to look up motivation for organisation lol. Weeeeirrrdoooooo yes i am.

I am quite excited about this fabric picture because I am preparing myself to make a lovely quilt out of vintage fabrics. I can't guarantee you that I will be able to show you it this year but I've started cutting squares and it is planned. Also.... who doesn't love seeing washi tape?!

The colour of the shelves makes me incredibly happy; as it looks like the same colour my living room used to be painted ^_^ I also love all the rolls of paper that are around! So much fantastic storage in such a small space. In my craft room we got a sofa bed as its the spare room too so I had to sacrifice a desk which I do miss. I have a little folding table which is an awkward height but good for working from the sofa but when Im sewing I would need a stool. Although the two stools I own; one is too small and the other isn't strong enough to hold my big butt. Although my butt isn't actually that big.. its put together with nails and the like.

All the colour and beautiful containers were always going to make me happy ^_^

This Bobbin organiser is the smartest thing I have seen! Currently I have mine all in a row in my little cath kidston sewing box. I also love the colours ^_^ Im going to check ebay for one of these bad boys.

Lots of lovely little cushions made for Fjeldborg online selling and her little store 13 I think. Only open locally in Norway I'm afraid! It looks fabulous though.

I spy with my little eye - some boxes covered in Retro villa paper! I want i want! it was going to end up costing me £60 for some wallpaper scraps to be shipped from Retro villa. I don't have that kind of money. Just slightly heartbreaking.

Ooh a divided bin for pens and scissors! Smart thinking. I have some tins in my craft room covered in paper which makes them just like white pots. I love the knobs on the drawers. Mine are all open plan so no knobs to transform unfortunately.

I love it all!
