So you see that coffee tin up there? Well.. it still has coffee in it! The other one... had been empty since october, but I kept it because I was adamant I find a use for it some day! That day arrived quite recently when I received 5 bakers twine spools which were quite tall and i couldn't figure out where to store them that would be pretty and easily accessible. Then I saw the coffee tin on top of the cupboard!
What I had.....
One coffee Tin
Scissors
An eyelet setter that cost me £1.59 on ebay (like plier type things)
5 eyelets which came free with the setter
Bakers Twine
And Paper with Double sided tape to cover the tin.
Step 1. I covered the coffee tin in white paper.
Step 2. I put the bakers twine inside the coffee tin and put the lid on which you can see is semi transparent. I used the scissors to poke 5 holes (nothing pretty I literally just stabbed the plastic) Quite close to the edge because of the depth of the eyelet setter pliers.
Step 3. Add the eyelets and bring through the string. Done and done!
