Scrapbook Layout Inspiration from Craft In Style

You all know how much I love discovering new inspirational scrappers and artists! Well Rina from Craft In Style does not disappoint. Also.. how fabuolous is this table and that sofa?! Best colour combination ever. I also love all of the paper piecing and layering on this scrapbook album cover.

Stitching on paper is something I love seeing on scrapbook layouts. It adds a completely new dimension to peoples work and is very effective. Rina has fabulous handwriting here doesnt she?!

Loving this mini album! I must confess that Ive fallen behind in my 2012 art journal. I worked on a scrapbook in march for my mum for Mothers day and the week before we had to put my cat down who we've had for 17 years.. so that little heart break stole my motivation for creating layouts of my everyday y'kno? I still have to photograph my mums layouts and I have so many photographs building up now I really do want to get back into creating layouts.

Rina is terribly clever here the way she has stitched her pages to make pockets! I like it! I'm not that smart and I just use envelopes :p I also like to sew properly on fabric too and I am so lazy I couldnt even be bothered switching needles every single time as I like to work on different projects at the one time. Its awful isnt it?! I should perhaps learn how to organize my creative projects a little better!

This drawing is fabulous. I think journalling is an excellent way to keep memories. The stitching pocket idea is something that I must steal!

I also like the fact that Rina has stitched over photographs to add lots more detail and interest to her images. Smart thinking batman! I told you... fantastic inspiration!

Layers are something I absolutely love doing to my scrapbook layouts and Rina has done a fabulous job on this mini album! I know.. I need to get back into it. First thing I must do is buy more printer ink or nothing will be happening ^_^
