Ok quickly, take me to ikea! I need a plate rack/shelf. I love these images so much. Period Living magazine always give me the best inspiration! Sorry I got a little distracted. More photos after the jump ^_^

So this was what I was looking for... Dining room inspiration! With the recent spat of good weather... My dining room and kitchen has sent me into disarray. The back side of my house is in complete darkness when the sun comes out because of all the harsh shadowing from the house and surrounding buildings. It's also absolutely freezing! Recently I had found a mirror in a thrift shop which I need to get my other half to sand and paint but I don't know where to put it. So I am thinking.l. The darkest places to reflect the light? Is that how it works? I think I need to do more research on brightening rooms.

I like the pink oilcloth. Oilcloth is the only type of tablecloth on our dining room table, for we are a family of spillers. Who also can't seem to keep food on placemats let alone plates!
This is a very elegant bedroom. I like the continuity in the furniture colours, textiles and wall art. Makes me think I need more wall art in my bathroom, this could potentially be a disaster for my friends and family who have to do all the work lol.

I'm not so keen on the pink bathroom but I do like all the shelving detail and storage options. I have one o the wee tiny billy bookcases in my bathroom as storage which replaced the most horrendous cheapo wire rack that my landlord had in there. I'm so glad I got rid of it!
