Are you ready for some jam jar over load? I have some Bonne Maman Jars and actually some ikea jars that are pretty and empty at the moment. Currently in my craft room I have a giant bonne maman jar with gardeners twine in it.. perfect size. Annnd i have stripy straws in another one that I lost the lids from. They're in the room somewhere! Somewhere being the operative word ^_^ All the images should be linked to their original sources.
I love the stacks of Bonne Maman jars from this magazine article but I couldn't work on that table top. Too many things on it!
oo I have a jar with labels in it too. Perfect height for those! I love those wee red peel back jar lids. The point of this post is - I have lots of jars but don't know what to store in the empty ones! I have lots of little things that could go into the mini jars.. but no mini jars! The ordinary sized ones. Also.. not sure about display. I have one of the purple lidded ones where I store my stamps (for journalling) and proper postal stamps not rubber ones. They live in an ikea box.
Ooo the Karel Capek tin! I looove it!! I want all those lovely jars. Is it bad to want to buy lots of mini jam jars? So pretty.
Pretty roses! I don't use little roses but I do have a takeout tub plastic box with prima roses in it. (Scrapbooking flower embellishments) I shall try that out in one of my jars ^_^

Screwing to the underside of shelf. Gibbs did that in his basement in NCIS years ago! An old school handy man tool. I can't say I like the look but that's cuz Im a big weird OCD type can't be distracted by visual clutter person.
Love this shelf on Memi The Rainbow flickr page. Although I couldn't cope with all those things out on display. I like space on my shelves. Im a weirdo yes I know. I do like the thought of everything being organised like this ^_^
I couldn't find a source for this link. That pencil sharpener is genius! Im definitely going to do this one with one of the mini jars. I have some of the honey but they're blue lids. These would also be quite handy for crafting while travelling or in a tote when you're on the move. I think the second picture is a magnet. The blog I found this image is here and the original link they posted brought back a 404 so I didn't see the point in adding it in.
Clear beads in the bottom or sand would make this beautiful indeed. Or even a full on candle in the jar. I suppose if that votive was a little bigger all the wax would melt down anyway. I love putting the yankee votives in baby food jars. ^_^
