Vintage Fabric Sewing | My First Ever Patchwork Picnic Blanket

On my sofa! This is the first ever patchwork quilt/picnic blanket that I ever attempted. The cat stole it. Even while I was still sewing. So it's been her bed now for about a year!

Just another view of the sofa! That isn't crochet trim, it's ontop of a pink afghan that I had on the sofa. And all my lovely cushions ^_^ the big bolster cushion is by Pip Studio, the round circle crochet cushion is from binkee shop on etsy, cath kidston behind made by moi and white crochet cushion behind that.. also made by moi. A nice wee mix ^_^

This is the 'picnic' blanket almost full size. I love all the fabrics ^_^ Although, I was sewing this just before my sewing machine went to the sewing machine hospital for a service. It wasn't really sewing well at all and I did all the maintenance I could. I *knew* it had been dropped out of a car (she laughs nervously) but it had been working! When I got her back from the service though she worked better than she ever did so it was well worth it ^_^

Close up of the blankets on my sofa and the crochet afghan I posted last week.

^_^  just lovely.

Lots of love Claire xo
