Hello! Just to share some pretty little things from around my home in terrible quality instagram shots. I apologise. Especially in my dining room the lighting is so horrendous that only my phone manages to cope with it! Whats up with that?! Anyway ^_^ In a bid to pretty up my bathroom and that ongoing process of getting my home stream lined and organised; a few months back I got those 2 little suction cup guys from Muji and then last week I spoilt myself rotten and bought two new bath hits because Im still using my two green lovelies I bought in france before they were available in the UK (which has only been in the past year really).
This picture I took last week! still haven't sewn the doily to my machine cover properly. Yes I am ashamed! This was actually prompted when I saw another instagrammer posted a picture of her dresser.. and it was so bunged with stuff that you couldn't appreciate any of it. Even a shop wouldn't have as much on their shelves, which made me remember that 'Less is definitely more' even though my shelves aren't exactly sparse. I periodically try to swap out my crockery display and the items that aren't being used or in season live in bubble wrap in a box under the stairs. I like to swap things around every so often so my eyes don't get bored because it can get very easy to miss things! Your eyes will guide you. I know I need to find a better solution for the cutlery jars that are up there now but things are still in the process of being moved around ^_^
and finally another cath kidston indulgence! Its beautiful but unfortunately only goes up to 40"! Thats less than a metre. Which can be frustrating when measuring my fabrics! Glorious all the same.
