Can anyone tell that I am slightly obsessed with Craft Spaces? I love to see where people work... it excites me even more when I also get to see an insane amount of stationery and adorable things! Let me introduce you to Mizutama; a fabulous stamp carver and author of how to carve stamps (all in japanese instruction manuals) I found Mizutama via instagram and instantly fell in love with her stamps, style and lusted after all her books!
When I saw this image I almost fell off my seat. I love this little work space so much! Look at all the washi tape! Thanks to Mizutama and her fabulous stamp carving I ended up spending a small fortune on eraser blocks and craft knives and figured out how to buy from a japanese shopping site with no thanks to google translate!
This lady is a fabulous illustrator and an even more talented stamp carver. I love all of her designs. I also want this cutting mat! I had a very boring green one which I have managed to destroy; being rather heavy handed with my rotary cutter and since invested in a rather lovely glass cutting board but we shall see how long that lasts! Looks rather pretty on my desk though ^_^
I love all of these wee dolls. Especially miffy!
So many nick backs and things to look at! All that lovely patterned washi tape too. I don't think Ive seen many works of hers using washi tape but that could just be because I miss it completely and am more interested in how she uses her rubber stamps in art work; that is something I definitely struggle with. I really like those brightly coloured nesting dolls.
Now this photograph got me all giddy! Like a mad woman. Instantly I made a cup of tea and was bursting to get to work on some paper crafting goodness. And also stock up on even more notebooks. Need to reinforce my notebook purchasing ban! Holy smokes I have a lot of notebooks that are nowhere near full.
I am incredibly jealous of this pen collection, although I know for a fact I would never use them all. I have neglected steadtler pens down stairs I can hear weeping. I should probably get back to my 'doodle a day' i had been doing! Just to keep my artiness flowing.
polka dots!! Where on earth can I find polka dot binder clips?!?! And look at that little russian doll sitting on a mushroom, what is that and why don't I own one?
