As soon as I saw this image I fell head over heels in love! Then I discovered it was a whole moodboard story and I got very excited indeed! Anita is the wonderful creative mind behind Annie's decor blog and she has some wonderful posts and imagery ^_^ as you can see from this sneak peek into her world!
I love these flowers. I think the decorate book was a big inspiration for Anita as it's appeared in a few of her shoots ^_^ I'm not surprised actually, it is a rather wonderful book.
Gorgeous little bits and sprigs before they're arranged, this lady sure has a good eye for styling and arranging! I envy such creativity and style!
And I flipping love moodboards! Love them love them love them. There is a little section in the Decorate book dedicated to creating moodboards ^_^ I do create moodboards in a little moodboard notebook before I decorate so I think I should share my own! I'm not usually a huge fan of green apart from bright lime and mint but these touches in the moodboard and interiors are fabulous and really effective. Oh look! I love it all ^_^ also a big fan of teal too. That fabric on the cushion is just divine. It looks lovely a sturdy. I really like the candle here too. It's amazing how something like the colour of a candle can just create so many ideas and inspire someone to decorate a room (I don't know if that is the case here but I know candle sticks inspired my summer decor in my own living room ^_^)I love close up images and I love the detail here that Anita created by mixing her cushion textures. A very effective styling skill and something to keep in mind next time I'm shooting something like this ^_^
This is the mint green I love! Painting the legs of this little bench is an excellent addition to the furniture and really ties in the colours perfectly for this decor. That little candle making another welcome appearance! Absolutely fabulous! You should visit Anita at her blog Annie's decor and drool for a while ^_^ Lots of loveClaire xo.
