When I found the lookbook on Pale and Interesting while looking for my birthday wish list :p I almost died from excitement. I just dream of having a white home with lots and lots of natural light everywhere.
The grey and white tones in the lookbook for this season are beautiful. Currently I am on the hunt for inspiring images and styles that I want to implement in my house this autumn/fall.. according to pantone the colours are all lovely and warm, golden and brown. With lots of lovely colours too... but i do like lots of white. Grey would make my room look very cold I think but it's hard to know. I do have a cream telephone which adds a little warmth and tones of peach in floral arrangements and an origami boat garland.. and obviously my little pastel lovelies around the place adding splashes of colour but Atlanta styles things so they look so glamourous!
I love these tins. They're galvanised tin storage and would be gorgeous as storage in my coffee table but currently I am using my spray painted suitcase for blanket storage and have no plans to change things around! Too much of a waste I think.
I definitely need to upgrade my wall art and frames. Actually need to purchase some more of those lovely white cheap ikea frames for creating wall art. Not just in my living room - in my hallway too. And probably the bathroom actually! I would really like to poke those wee fake mushroom things. Am I the only one? Surely for decorative use but I can't imagine them in my own home.
I want this dining room!!! Ive ordered some silk flower arrangements to swap out what I have here at the moment. They've been here for a year and much like my inspiration board; I find that if I don't swap decor around regularly I just don't see it anymore and I don't feel inspired to shoot images etc. Things need to be fresh. I also came to the realisation that I've arranged items on my wee 'telephone table/cupboard top' in the same way since I moved in so I want to try something different although Im not quite sure how too do it yet.
*faints*
Sorry... lol. Look at the giant mirror!!!!! And the window! i love it i love it i love it! Ok so I am thinking my inspiration is plenty of vintage linens and lots of lovely wall art. More frames are required. I think I might need to purchase Atlanta Bartletts books!
