Living Room Corner Update | How I Organized My Router and Wifi Box Using An Ikea Kvarnvik box

I love my little vintage milk bottles in a crate ^_^ I was lucky enough to receive lots of lovely little carnations on my birthday last month as my mum knows how much I love flowers. I also treated myself to lots of little yankee candles because I love them!
Back in June I asked for help regarding the lamp corner in my living room (via this post)... this is what it looked like before -

Here it is now! I hated that cheap lamp over there but its gone and the space was bare. I now have two bunches of orchid lights in an Ikea jug ontop of a Lantliv plant stand from Ikea. On the bottom shelf is a Kvarnvik box from Ikea that stores my wireless router and modem as I was fed up of what we had! I also used an ikea cable management box (which cant really be seen) to hold the extension cable. Im so happy with it! I cut a rectangle box out of the back of the Kvanvik box to allow wires/cables and heat to escape.

Some pretty little details of my birthday suprises last month ^_^ the ceramic bird is from Next in the UK but from a couple of seasons ago. That pink glass candle is a scented candle from ikea. To be honest, I really only bought it for the pretty glass but the scented candle itself isn't that great. I didn't notice the smell after it was lit and it was finished in one day whereas the yankee that I lit at the same time lasted two days - so well worth it being double the cost ykno? But I really wanted the pink glass as a vase. So much so, I bought versions in green and purple! Just need to get burning ^_^ I might wait though as we use lots of candles in autumn and winter due to the lovely warming heat they provide.

The orchid lights close up ^_^ I love them. I've also invested in a light to attach to the wall above it for the darker months coming but it's just getting around to putting it up!

Lots of love Claire xo
