Im not too sure why I am giddy for pastels recently; I've found so many wonderful stylists with fabulous arrangements in the most glorious pastel shades! It's imagery such as this that makes me think that I definitely need more ribbons and things just incase the need for pretty picture arises ^_^
I love the colour blue. The green milk glass vase in there is very lovely! Looking at these images Im trying to see what I could take away from them as ideas and information for styling... mixing sizes, textures and placement seems to be huge. And adding lots of added interest with different shapes from the flowers.
In the first image.. its all about different sizes/heights. The second appears to be about mixing texture, the third is a strong mix of colours and texture and the last image in the little collage seems to incorporate all of those little elements. Food for thought for when youre styling your own pieces huh? I love all the pastel colours ^_^
