Ooh it's been a while since I scoured the Heart Handmade UK Flickr group for all the loveliness but Im so glad I did recently! Memi Rose is one of my favourites and her crochet is unbelievable! Look at all those marvellous colours in the wall hanging.. I just adore all of it. A lovely crochet filled home. Perfection!
I love these sunburst granny squares dont you? I always have lots of trouble trying to decide on colours. Usually when Im making them my little 'area' of mass creation looks like theres been an explosion in a yarn shop!
I know the lovely Illaria from IDA interior lifestyle started this crazy trend a couple of years back! I never considered making one really as I thought it would make the lampshade too dark but I do love the colour combinations used here! And the pretty lamp base ^_^
This living room wall paint is the most lovely feminine colour! I also love the throw on the back of the sofa! Think I need a few crochet garlands in my life, so far ive only made throws, pot holders and cushions.. the garlands are a very sweet decorating idea and perfect for the colder months. My favourite thing about autumn/fall is all the chunky knit decor! Looks so cozy and comfortable. It would be a million times better if I had a fire but alas.... I light lots of candles instead to keep cozy!
This is one of the best plate collections I have seen! I think I might do this actually.. I have some very pretty polka dot plates from cath kidston and a floral one I got once as it was the only one left and its a bright yellow.. looks fabulous. I think this would look amazing in my dining room; I just need to keep my eye out for some old school plates!
^_^ the colours on this throw just scream summer time to me. That shade of limey green (?) yellow maybe? To me it looks lime.. anywho.. my favourite shade of green! I found an old cross stitch cushion on ebay that I purchased with the intention of doing this and it has been in the cupboard for about a year... I really should do something about that huh.
And a gloriously huge crochet blanket full of granny squares! Ah.. I want to go to Memi's house and just absorb all the colourful loveliness!
