Summer of 2012 seemed to have lots of mint coral and pink around and let me tell you.. i LOVED it!! I love these colours together! These images from Jenna Rae cakes are just incredible. If someone presented me with cakes like this I wouldn't have the heart to eat them. I also WANT that jug with those lovely little carnations. Vintage and glorious.

oh good lord.. look at that cake! Is that a pink layer of sponge at the top? I bet it smelt delicious too. Did I tell you i recently discovered the joys of Rose flavoured cupcakes? I was always a fan of turkish delight but holy bejesus... so i bought a big bottle of rose water and I have some cupcake baking plans. Although Im not too sure how vegan icing works with rose water but Im sure i will find out.
Have any of you ever tried sugar craft? Those petals are flippin incredible. I can't imagine it being too easy either. The colour of the sugar paste on the cake is just a fabulous shade of mint.
