Let me tell you... I am seething with pure unadulterated jealousy at the talent of Dana Tanamachi! Look what she can do! With chalk!! I cant even write neatly on a white board let alone creatively! I absolutely love all of the colours used in this set design; featured in Oprah Magazine February 2012. Cover next -
I just love all of these bright beautiful colours! Currently, whilst lettering I still required grids and guidelines so the fact that Dana can produce this amazing lettering by hand, on chalk, on a wall, absolutely blows me away!
I love these! I have an 8x10 chalk board that I might start practising on ^_^ Or I will find some more plywood and get painting with chalkboard paint. I find it really difficult to deal with chalk sticks; I prefer chalk markers if I'm honest but the fact that it's proven possible I am determined to get some practice in!
Is that written on pink chalk?! How does that work without squooshing? If Dana decides to hold some online lettering workshops I am definitely signing up!
This is the best bedroom artwork ever! Ive seen so many chalk board walls but Id be afraid of it making a room too dark. If I had someone talented like Dana designing on it I would probably paint it no problem ^_^
