5 Wonderful Ways To Brighten Your Desk
Have you been feeling the lull this Winter at all? I most certainly have been! I thought it was high time I did something drastic in my craft … drastic like TIDYING THE DESK. Oh the horror!
Turns out, it wasn’t so bad. I do have a bad habit of just letting things pile up. No more. I had a lot of fun perusing the Etsy, dress your desk section and picking up little bits and pieces to adorn my workspace.
#1.Keep Journals open and organised using binder clips in pretty colours
I have been having a great time working at my desk instead of on the floor like I usually do. I’ve been working on an art journal page as part of the ‘Get Messy’ journaling class I’m part of. I’m using paper scraps that I kept as ‘off cuts’, they were leftovers from my planner customisation post.
#2.Add some colour with Washi Tape
Or Heidi Swapp mists if you’re an art journaler.
#3.Make sure all your pens are actually cats
#4. Keep Your Bits and Pieces tidy using a Pygmy Cloud tray!
How adorable is this tray?! it’s a great size and very useful when I’m working with journals.
#5. Keep your desk inspiring with hand made/layered Project Life cards or Handmade Notebooks.
I adore the Glitter Artsy Crafts store and the fabulous layouts created in mini card form. I love to have some on my desk, hanging up around my shelves or inside my planner.
Have you done anything to brighten your desk this winter?
I would love to see your crafty goings on ^-^
