Stationery has been an obsession of mine, since forever. If I could find the best big pencil case guides back when I was 14, I would have spent an absolute fortune. I’m also pretty certain that I made sure I used them every other week. Just to ensure I get my money’s worth. Quite honestly, I do use quite a lot of pencil cases. However, each of them has a purpose.

This is a Medium capacity pencil case that can store up to 30-40 pens, and can store small stationery in the mesh bag. I own a similar pencil case and you can store Post-it notes, stickers and even rubber stamps. The best part is that it can be a rather compact pencil case or a larger pencil case. It’s awesome. The yellow is my favorite color.
This green pencil case is beautiful and it’s even more enticing in adorable colors! They’re available in pastel shades and I love the lilac. But, I’m pretty sure I need one in every colour. In terms of choosing a big pencil case, this one is perfect for jamming into a backpack. It’s shape means that it’s a great space saver.
Similarly to the very first pencil case, this would hold almost every shade of your favorite fine liner pens (these are my favorites)! It’s perfect for school, especially if you have eraser pens and mechanical pencils. That means you don’t need a chunky pencil case or an eraser that is easily misplaced.
This seems to be more of an all in one pouch that can include a small art journal! It’s fantastic. Just double-check the measurements if you would be able to fit the journal inside. The purple fabric is beautiful but I don’t think that I would have the patience to insert each pen or pencil into each piece of elastic. They would be useful though for handling small water brushes. My small watercolor paint tins would fit perfectly in the back of that big pencil case and I want one.
Ooh. This is a pretty beautiful, medium-capacity pencil case. It is the perfect solution for organizing all your pencils, pens, or even makeup.
The best part about this pencil case is the variety of Kawaii designs. The pencil case has a flap inside to sort pencils and fine liners for easy access! Honestly, with all of the pencil cases here you must decide what is important; storage over design or design over storage. How important is it for you to have a lot of storage or is it more important to have a pretty pencil case that only carries the essentials?
This pencil case is adorable AND practical! If only I had a reason to have every single piece of pink stationery in one place to take images just like these. Don’t worry, I’m not that bad! But I do have an addiction to pencil cases. The pencil case companies have really upped their game in the last twenty years! This is awesome and it holds so much. It’s perfect for a budding artist who needs to carry supplies around.
This is a great option if you want to store a small cosmetics pouch or big pencil case in your purse. It can store up to 30 pens which is great if you love to journal! Include every shade of your favourite fine liner pens and bullet journal supplies; like paper clips or washi tape.
This triple section pencil case is incredible. I have a smaller version of this that I use to carry different brands of watercolour pencils. Out of all the pencil cases in this list, this is the pencil case I would buy. Purely because it’s divided and those pouches can really hold a lot, including small watercolour palettes.
Wow. Just wow. If you are going on vacation or a trip and love to carry art supplies with you, I would understand why you may want a pencil case this size but I would advise against it. Purely because it can get cumbersome quickly. However, if you are planning to use this big pencil case for storing your favourite supplies in your craft cupboard, then knock yourself out! It’s an excellent size for that type of storage and it really holds an impressive number of pencils.
Three words; rainbow, pastel, glitter. Do I really have to say more? Ok, my favourite part of this pencil case is that there’s a section on the base for you to write your name with a sharpie. It will stop any stealing, or at least you can identify it if it does get pinched.
If you agreed with me about the previous pencil case, then you need to click through to see the other pics of this alpaca pencil case. It has a comparison image that shows both cases side by side. I believe it supports my argument about it being cumbersome. This stationery pouch would be great if you plan on storing it in a bookcase along with your journals.
As I may have mentioned once or twice, I am an absolute sucker for stationery. I could happily spend a day and a small fortune buying stationery of all types. Any single one of these big pencil cases would be great for storing your favourite planner supplies or school stuff.
