You guys are going to love this easy to stitch together crochet doily seat cover tutorial from Diana Elizabeth blog. A fabulously inspired DIY Tutorial!
Isn’t this pink bike gorgeous?! I love any bike with a basket on the front but one that’s pink would make me faint in the street.
this is a better view of the DIY project for most beautiful bicycle I’ve ever seen *ahem* sorry haha! It all seems fairly straight forward. The only tricky thing that I can envisage is shaping the glorious looking vintage doily’s around the seat.
I also love the white seat! Beautiful! I’m also very jealous of this collection of vintage doilies! My favourite colours are in there; yellows and pinks. That could be part of the reason I fell in love with this DIY tutorial.
This is how Diana Elizabeth shaped the doilies around the seat. I think they were stitched in this position but I’m not 100% certain. You have to visit the Diana Elizabeth blog post to be sure. It will be linked at the bottom of this post to avoid confusion with my text colours.
Isn’t it gorgeous! Clever idea putting the doily with the pink flowers at the edge of the bike seat. I can imagine that poking at your butt something serious on a long bike journey. I think I love this project because of the colours. I mean I *LOVE* it. It made me do a little out loud squeal when I saw it!
I edited some of the photographs from the original blog post using Rad Lab for Photoshop.
