The Craft Cafe DIY Cardboard Houses
Hi all! Welcome to another post from the Craft Café. I am so proud to welcome Coral of Babycatface blog, to The Craft Cafe contributors! Coral shared a great DIY Gift Tag at Christmas time but today is her first full post for us. Grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee and read through this super simple DIY project. You can start making plans to recreate these fabulous little cardboard houses over a cupcake or two, or five (if you’re me) ^_^ – Claire xo.
Really nice to be here in heart handmade uk.
For my first post in the Craft Café I’ve decided to show you a super easy diy. A simple way to make your own mini deco lamps, house shaped, using cardboard from recycled boxes we use daily.
We need very simple materials:
– Scrap Cardboard, from cereal boxes, etc.
– Craft Knife
– White craft glue (PVA or Elmers Glue)
– Sharp Scissors
We draw the shape in the box and take advantage of the folding, then, we fold again and cut.
We stick the roof to the rest of the structure, we can make different shapes for the windows, and if we want to use them as lamp we would have to use led lights or battery operated candles so we don’t burn the cardboard 😉
Hope you liked my post, really glad to be here with you all.
See you soon.
