How To Make Super Simple DIY Christmas Signs!
DIY Decoupage Napkin Signs
I love Christmas and I love decoupage, so when Christmas time rolls around, I can’t wait for an excuse to get the napkins out! Seriously, all you use to make the sign, is a 3ply napkin and a blank wooden sign (with glue and paint obvs). It’s such an easy project and it looks fabulous hung around the house during the festive season! If you have creative girly friends, they would make excellent stocking fillers and you could even make a killing on eBay selling some of these bad boys!
You will need:
brush for glue
string or twine
Prime your wooden sign!
Cut your napkin down to size (I had to wrap it on the wooden sign so I could centre the words.)
Separate your napkin; you will use the top layer only.
Get generous with the mod podge and lay your napkin over the sign. I used more mod podge across the top because it also acts as a sealer/varnish.
Poke your holes again!
Choose your twine and hang it up!
