When you think of country homes and interior styling you don’t necessarily think of super bright colours do you? I don’t, but I love what I found through a recent country homes and interiors magazine!
Country Living is one of my favourite magazines and it manages to scour the country for fabulous, diverse, country cottage interiors. This feature was absolutely fabulous with it’s bold, striking colours. The yellow lamp in the living room is my favourite of all and that sofa just looks so lovely and soft and luxurious. The little stack of vintage, blue covered books as a little vignette makes for some wonderful decoration around the room! That study!!! My goodness, what a colour on that wall! I would never be so brave as to paint a room that deep, coral red but my word it looks tremendous. The vintage, painted and distressed table adds a lovely bit of texture into this room and definitely gives it a retro feel with all the reproduction vintage items that are on display. I adore the colour of the table lamp and I would definitely steal it if I was ever given half the chance. I think it’s wonderful that features like this paved the way for us to be inspired to paint our own furniture and give such bold makeovers to our home.
I adore flowers, I would have them everywhere if I could! I can’t wait to have a giantic garden to fill with vegetables and flowers for cutting.
What a great hallway! I absolutely love that bench, the cushion and the vintage cabinet in turquoise! So much wicker! The colours in this room are just lovely and rather playful!
These colour combinations are just fabulous. Again we can see the use of vintage books with lovely covers being used a photography props! And more beautiful, freshly cut flowers ^_^ I absolutely adore large vintage spools and the watercolour chart just ties in wonderfully with the bedroom vignette! The home of the first set of lovely florals and a fabulous Liberty of London suitcase. oo!
This bathroom just screams ‘Cath Kidston’ to me and I absolutely love it. I don’t usually enjoy such bold reds but this home is marvellous.
