The Dreamy Whites blog is possibly one of my favourite blogs EVER. The furniture, the accessories, the vintage linens and styling are just incredible and breath taking! This blog has been bookmarked for years and I visit it often to try and find some inspiration. These images also make me want to go and buy lots of vintage, rustic items (that I can’t afford and have no space for!).
Lavender in lovely jars. Is this a vintage crate or tray?
Just beautiful lavender fields.
Isn’t this table setting in the middle of all this lavender just fabulous? I would love to know where people can find all of these charming, rustic accessories, tables and chairs. There appears to be a plethora of furniture items! Although I know Marina lives on a horse ranch, so there is plenty of storage!
I love these chairs. The decoration on the back is just simple, elegant and absolutely stunning! What is an arrangement like that called? A swag? I’ll do a google!
All of these mis matched bottles and jars add an incredible amount of eye candy to the whole display! The little lavender branches on the place settings are a beautiful little touch!
Is all of this lavender? What is the little purple flower that isn’t included in the centrepiece? Stock flowers? I think these grow like bejesus along the motorway and randomly out of the walls outside like a weed, would that be correct?
This photo made my heart skip a little beat. I wish I had the talent to style an image like this!
And now I must go on ebay and check all local thrift shops for jars, bottles and vases. I’m building another list on top of yesterdays ^_^
oh I just love it!
These little lavender bags are absolutely beautiful. I would love to see a little basket of these in my home.
It’s just a stunning set up. I thought there was a tablecloth but there appears to be the most incredible texture on this vintage table. I would love to know what it’s made out of. It wouldn’t be cast iron, as you would need a crane to move it. Maybe? Maybe not? There have been plenty of little cast iron outdoor furniture pieces that are light but the majority of items that I’ve seen that are cast iron are very heavy.
I am posting this lovely post today as I’m finally accepting that Autumn is on it’s way. I’m easing myself in slowly ^_^ The ribbon here is absolutely beautiful.
A simple and elegant piece of linen underneath the centrepiece. It’s stunning!
Table settings and table numbers would be appropriate if this was a huge event with more than one table obviously.
Lavender on cheese! What!
Some beautiful little lavender sack favours.
Oh my word! How beautiful are these little terracotta pots of lavender? The colours are just beautiful.
A lovely close up of the lovely linen sacks.
Lavender honey sounds delicious. This would also make a stunning favour for a wedding or event. Marina did an excellent job of styling this beautiful series of images!
I do love a vintage enamel jug! I actually have two white jugs, they have slight differences to their shape but essentially I have two. I’m very tempted to paint one of them or add a vintage decal. I might do a little image research for some inspiration ^_^
ooo what’s all this about? A little wind chime? Or just a decorative wreath?
Stunning little pots for lavender. I would love to use these pots to make soy candles. (Lavender soy candles would also make a beautiful favour idea!)
