Flowers For Spring and Summer
I think it’s fair to say, I am obsessed with flowers. Judging by the amount of views my last post received (about flowers), so are you guys! I am trusting that somebody will be able to tell me what these flowers are? Are they tulips? I always appreciate when you help me with flower types! I remember them all (miraculously) and keep my eyes peeled on car journeys for gardens full of blooms. I keep seeing lilac trees everywhere now!
In a million years, I never would have thought to go and pick daisies from the lawn and stick them in a little vase! The blog, Sylvia Home & Inspiration is packed full of the most stunning images of flowers and beautifully styled photographs! I know I always mention how jealous I feel of these talented ladies who can style photographs so beautifully, but it’s true. Today I’m green with envy. The colours are all stunning and I’m sure Sylvia’s home would fill me with joy. There’s a chance I would never leave!
oh! French lavender! I have a pot right outside for the bee’s. These shades of purple and silver are gorgeous and compliment this shabby chic decor perfectly!
What a beautiful rose! I can’t wait to have my own garden. I will have roses and ranunculus and lilacs and hydrangea. Honestly, my flower wish list is never ending.
What are both of these?
Oh I LOVE cherries! I learnt a very valuable lesson a few years ago; the bright red, photogenic cherries, will turn your face inside out. They’re sour. oh my word they are sour! Dark cherries are my best friend ^_^
These images of red cherries with lovely red linen just remind me of the summer time!
This image is gorgeous! If Sylvia sold packs of postcards of her fabulous photographs I would buy them in a heart beat!
I really like these hooks on the wall. Are they vintage? A certain type of style? What would I search for online?!
Again… I never would have thought! My parents have the most beautiful cherry blossom tree and I must go and steal some for a little display!
What a wonderful wreath. Proving that wreaths aren’t just for christmas ^_^
