It’s very close to Valentine’s Day so get ready to do some baking! There is a marvellous recipe for White Chocolate Macaroon Bites from Alkaline Sisters blog (linked below). I completely fell in love with the food photography styling for this recipe. The image above is my favourite! It looks like a fabulous little corner ^_^
Even though I don’t like desicated coconut.. this recipe is vegan friendly so I could be tempted into tasting it! Those fresh raspberries look absolutely divine!
This overhead image of the macaroon bites, the cupcake cases, doilies, fresh ingredients and table decor has given me lots of ideas for photos and note taking about what to keep in mind next time I’m creating a styled photo shoot.
The platter that these little macaroon bites are sitting on and the crochet are absolutely beautiful and I wish I owned them! I always wish I own these items with the grand ideas for photographing the lovely little trinkets, it never happens. I need to control my window shopping because I can’t always be trusted not to treat myself! lol. My house could do with a little organisation. Anyway, I digress! I really am very impressed with the photography styling for this recipe. Food photography is something that has always interested me but I am absolutely awful at photography styling. I might have to check for some online courses about how to style your images!
oooh! I adore flowers but I’ve just been rather taken by that pink floral fabric! It’s rather like fabric prints from Liberty of London. The colours marry beautifully with those flowers and rather rustic looking ceramics.
Don’t these macaroon bites look fabulous?! I love the polka dot cupcake cases too ^_^ they look great with the raspberries. I’m a colour fiend! You can find the recipes and original images on the Alkaline Sisters blog.
