I have to warn you that this is a huge, picture heavy post!
In the last couple of years I really took to furniture, in a big way.
Renting a home that’s already fully furnished can mean you don’t have any interest in furniture. At least, that was my story.
Then I decided, I can invest in some small pieces that I can use down the line. I invested in a little cabinet to store my fabric in and discovered some amazing furniture makeovers online and have been following the decor trend ever since!
It’s a fabulous colour right?
There are so many amazing, colourful paints for working with furniture these days! Currently my favourite is DecoArt Chalky Finish furniture paint but it changes, depending on the project 😉
The furniture in the Wooz Household is really rather marvellous!
Isn’t this colour combination fabulous!? I love it! From Stylists own blog.
I love this ‘atomic’ 60’s style makeover. I never would have been able to think of creating this from its original state. I’m struggling at the minute with a wall mounted house shaped shelf! via Poppytalk
I love this pip studio wallpaper! I wish I could justify buying a roll of Pip studio wallpaper but it’s so expensive. via Siskamariesophie on flickr.
I love Pink Friday! Another fabulous blogger that I’ve featured before. This wallpaper is crazy, the Scandinavian’s are SO lucky with such a huge range of amazing vintage designed furniture, wallpaper and decor that’s available. – via Pink Friday blog.
If I didn’t already have a gorgeous bedside table I would do something like this! It looks marvellous. Via Two Shades of Pink blog
I love this mosaic ladder! It looks so effective. I imagine it would cut the feet off you in bare feet but I guess the key would be; don’t go up the ladder without shoes! Unfortunately the Flea Market Makeovers blog has been deleted, I would have loved to have seen more upcycled furniture.
This armoire is just perfection to me…
Perfection! Via Couture-Et-Turbulences. I almost passed out from excitement when I first saw it 😉
This blog has some of the most amazing furniture I’ve ever seen! I Love this G-Plan dresser. Via Mor til Mernee My granny has lots of G Plan furniture, it would be perfect for a retro home.
The colours of this dresser are my absolute favourite! via LavantteHome on Etsy
Jasna has done an amazing job painting and distressing this Ikea cabinet!
Jasna has some amazing paint colours!
I’m going to have to save this photograph and use the dulux colour matching app. – Jasna Janekovic
I’ve featured a fabulous Children’s play shed from the Huset ved Fjorden blog before, I wish I lived in this house! I love that little table and those drawers. Those look like G-Plan too!
This crate makeover is just wonderful! A perfect place to store yarn.

I don’t have a headboard but I need one these! The heart is obviously my favourite part. Via 101Woonideeen
