Jen from IHeartOrganizing blog had a little space available, just wide enough for a book case and she got to planning! Using dowel rods and some serious organising, Jen managed to create her own, completely organised gift wrap station! With easy to pull out gift wrap and ribbons and easy access to bows a plenty!
I love this glitter ribbon and I’m sure Jen has explained how she manages to keep her ribbon from unravelling. I bet you I would have this gift wrap station look like a bomb site in less than a day.
This looks like a really simple idea for creating a gift wrap station and I would bet this is a billy bookcase. It’s possible it isn’t ^_^ it just looks like the little peg holes available for shelves. Although most self assembly furniture looks like this these days!
Jen created a marvellous tutorial for this washi tape organiser which will be available on her blog ^_^
I like that polka dot gift box! I bet it’s from the container store (I can’t get those items here in the UK). I also like the white box under the washi tape. Is that an ikea one? It looks like the kassett range but there are very limited sizes available…although I haven’t looked on the site for a while. I’ll go soon!
Much like my own house (where the colours seem to match my blog) Jens house and storage appears to be the same! I am going to steal this hanging scissor storage idea. It’s too good not too ^_^
These large wicker baskets are great for storage but I am very guilty of just throwing things in the baskets and losing them effectively until I decide to have a clear out! I’m so jealous of these organisational skills!
Actually, the one organised basket I do have is filled with containers like these but they’re Muji divided containers and hold all my different pens and pencils for drawing. And excess stationery because I’m a stationery fiend.
I like these sturdy magazine files and how they’re all correctly labelled! The last magazine files I got were the cheapest available from Ikea and didn’t really last very long. They became very battered and bruised quite quickly! Part of me wants to buy some sturdy magazine holders and another part reminds me I should clear through my collection and make some space! I will figure it out eventually I’m sure!
This is a fabulous idea; to have another pretty basket filled with magazine files for easy access to large ribbons and gift toppers! As they’re delicate there is no simple way of storing them and this way, you get all the space required and keep them within easy reach.
And of course a little gold vase to match the spray painted dowels! I’m very impressed with the white labelling of the neon boxes, I must check again to find out how this was done!
