Bright And Colourful Dutch Living From Hema Shop
I’ve blogged about Hema Shop before and after you see all the fabulous images from the Hema Blog, I’m sure you will love Hema as much as I do. I’m an absolute sucker for advertising and promotion if it’s done well. The image above for example, with the turquoise sewing machine; I want everything! Shutup and take my money! Have you guys seen that meme? It makes me laugh. I need to become resiliant to these glorious images otherwise I will spend an absolute fortune! Luckily, Hema is pretty affordable and you get a lot of bang for your buck (as they say). I think you will like all the beautiful images from Hema Blog, they’ve set up a little community where different dutch bloggers display their favourite products and items in their own homes and I have to say, the images are absolutely glorious.
Adding pops of neon to your home can have an amazing effect. I love adding bright colours in the summer time especially ^_^ Using candles and colourful textiles is the perfect way to infuse a little colour into a sparse room.
A dutch designer that I love is Eline Pellinkhoff and years ago I saw that she had a postcard holder like this magazine holder and I was about to burst because I couldn’t find one similar in the UK, well…. Hema do them! Woot!
These crafty ideas are fabulous and so simple!! Create flower fairy lights with some cupcake cases, decorate plant pots with pretty washi tape and simple painted tins to use as stationery storage or a vase.
I’ve seen this idea on pinterest a few times this summer but I’m still to make some fruity ice cubes! You can also use flowers! Those carnations are beautiful. I’m sure you could find some edible flowers to put in those gorgeous ice cube trays.
How amazing is this little craft corner?! I really want a turquoise seqing machine. I think I need to paint my own sewing machine. That’s possible right?! I love the little paper garland up there, created using a little craft punch.
I’m so inspired by all the Hema Bloggers and I think you will be too! Needs to be put through google translate but it’s worth it.
