Happy Mothers Day ladies! I hope you enjoy these Mothers Day Flowers; arranged beautiful by the Japanese floral designer Wamizuumi Monami for KLA Styling. This little flower arrangement was created with the intention of using a small bouquet from the florists or even from the garden, using only five types of flowers.
I think the rose and lovely fluffy tulip were a great choice for the two ‘focus’ blooms in this tiny little arrangement. In this image I think the ‘kitchen breakfast table’ is a great background for these flowers and I really love the macaroons in tonal colours to match the little bouquet. The vase looks like one of those gorgeous melamine cups produced by Rice DK. I have several in my possession! A little arrangement is totally plausible in a little cup like this.
Are these chamomile? I don’t think I’ve experienced the flowers before; I have had the tea though. The texture from that kitchen table is absolutely marvellous and it looks so effective against these delicate little flowers. I love it!
A rather beautiful image of the ‘focus’ blooms, isolated in a lovely wicker basket. Is this the type of basket you would have for collecting flowers and garden bits and bobs? I need one to go and steal all the beautiful hydrangea that I’ve been seeing recently. It would even be great to use for displaying a flower arrangement. What do you think?
At first, upon seeing this image, I thought that the stems had been washi taped to the wood; that’s not the case at all. The tape was used to mark the table where the stems should overlap and fan out; this way they could easily be tied without moving too much. A great idea huh?
The lovely tied arrangement! The ranunculus looks so very soft and it’s a beautiful colour.
Can anyone tell me what those lovely purple stems are?
