Using A Moodboard To Define Your Style
I adore everything about moodboards and I always have. During a brain storming session, I love to collect inspiration to help develop my ideas. Sometimes, a creative photo shoot like the ones shown in this post from Scandi Food blog can be my end goal. Deciding on colours and decorative elements can be the most difficult part!
As soon as I saw this coral moodboard, I fell in love and I couldn’t believe that it was for Christmas! I just love these colours. Moodboards are usually used to convey ideas for creative projects, most recently, these creatively styled moodboards have become the final goal for a project. Collecting inspiration can be a really fun part of the creative process and to be honest, I think it’s my favourite part. It’s exciting. Looking at all of these moodboard images excites me!
These pastel shades almost made me faint with excitement! I would normally use a collection of textures, images, scrapbook embellishments and items in a particular colour scheme to create my moodboards. This particular pastel moodboard lead to Scandi Foodie blogger Maria, to have a fabulous crafty tea party!
Isn’t this little tea party fabulous? The crockery is just beautiful and I love all of the little paper craft elements.
Are these sticker embellishments? Please excuse my eyesight. It’s really rather awful.
Little handmade paper envelopes with favours inside are a beautiful touch to this baby shower.
There are so many gorgeous elements to this little image. The punched paper ties in the different colour elements perfectly and I love the texture of the tablecloth used.
Of course I had to share the little peeks into Maria’s clever storage! Maria is a Scandinavian design advocate from Australia. I knew it had to be somewhere sunny! These photographs have the most fabulous light and I love that pink bin at the bottom.
This is a DIY shelf! Isn’t it marvellous? I might have to see if I have any space to make one of these. I think I’ve used up all my wall space though. I really need to rearrange and have a little clear out. This decorative shelf is fabulous and I love those vintage scissors. Maria’s blog is wonderful and you will love it!
