One Little Word with Ali Edwards 2016
This year, I am seriously considering purchasing the year-long course One Little Word. I’ve had a word for the year every year for the past 4 years but those were recorded in my favourite >Goals and Intentions Kits by Jessica Swift. I have purchased my Goals and Intentions kit for 2016 but I didn’t keep checking it or reminding myself to check it in the later months of 2015. I think that purchasing the course with its reminders and monthly prompts would be a great way of keeping up with my goals for the year.
You can also buy a kit alongside the course, perhaps I will buy the class first and see what’s involved before I commit to a kit. I may only want the stamps after all.
This is one of Ali Edwards earlier OLW albums, you can see all the posts about One Little Word on her blog.
Now comes the hard part, choosing your word! Ali provided this word cloud in one of her earlier posts on One Little Word. I did a lot of thinking about this and went through words like Downsize, prepare… declutter? No, as soon as I said them I knew it was a no. None of those words sounded right, I wasn’t ready to commit to an entire year with the word ‘downsize’ (said in the most deflated way possible). Then it hit me. Commit. That’s the perfect word. I had already stumbled across this beautifully portrayed definition of the word from Vanessa Documented.
The whole reason I’m even considering this workshop is because of the fabulous Wilna! This layout of her 2016 word is wonderful and there’s a full step by step video over on her blog.
I love the idea of journalling with your OLW. This is a beautiful layout from Sweet Paper Treats.
Do you choose a word for your year? What is it?
I will update you soon!
