I was always so conflicted about going back to school, I LOVED all of the stationery and getting a new school bag but absolutely hated school. Hated it!
But.. getting a new school bag was always fun.
Back To School:
The Best Pastel Bags For School You Didn’t Even Know You Wanted!
We never had fancy school bags like these to choose from and internet shopping didn’t exist then. Kids now, don’t know they’re born! (Did anyone else ever hear that saying growing up!?) It’s sad because it’s true! So, whether you’ve just started high school, you’re a senior or starting college, you might want to get your hands on some of these gorgeous bags. Especially if you’re girly and fabulous.
If you haven’t guessed by now, I love pastels. All things pastel related! Including back packs that I don’t need. Especially this vegan leather aqua bag. The best part is that is super durable! Which is exactly what school kids need.
How beautiful is this backpack? I love the marble trend at the moment and I wish backpacks looked this good when I was at school. If I can think of an excuse to get a backpack (or 10) I’m getting my mits on all of these.
Getting a backpack that is the right shape for holding ring binders and books is essential. If you can get one that is sturdy and the right shape, then you’ve struck gold my friend! I’m in love with this backpack made with Liberty of London Capel material!
If you can’t tell by the colours of this blog, coral is my favourite colour (for now!!). This backpack is padded which is perfect protection for backs (trust me, you don’t appreciate that until you get older). As someone who has suffered from chronic back pain since my early 20’s, kids need to have support in their backpacks!
This bag makes me think of Jem. It’s truly outrageous. And I love it. It would be perfect for carrying gym gear or swimming costumes, not for heavy books.
What’s even better than a truly outrageous bag?
Which I happen to think, is perfect for swimwear! Am I wrong? I found a mini sequin mermaid backpack which is amazing but it’s too small to be used as a school bag.
If you prefer a slightly more mature look, this 14″ laptop bag is beautiful. I like the fact that it’s divided and can hold books, binders and pencil cases in separate places.
Pockets and two zippers are insanely useful when it comes to backpacks! The material used in this backpack reminds me of Cath Kidston, which is tres fashionable these days. Teens would love this! Right?!?! I think the last time I talked to a teenager was when my cousin was one. Which wasn’t *that* long ago, but long enough for me to forget what they would like.
Similar to the 14″ laptop bag above (from the same company), this is my absolute favourite of the bags and I think that may have something to do with the fact that I would get A LOT of use out of it now. If you don’t use a laptop in school then you could still use this bag as a school bag and keep your binders or text books in the laptop space.
Even if your teacher, this bag would genuinely be perfect for you. You can store school books, your laptop and all other daily teacher accessories one could need!
I LOVE coloured Harris Tweed but man it’s expensive! My favourite tweed is pink (I found this wallet and fell in love) but this lilac shopper bag is absolutely beautiful and would be perfect for carrying binders.
I’m constantly using shopper bags to tote my printed workbooks around so I could definitely justify this purchase!
I need to know, what is your favourite bag that I featured today? Whether for yourself, teens or kids, what do you look for in a new bag?
