Pastel Colours in my House
Today’s post is full of images that are pastel filled and from my house lately! This above image was taken a few weeks ago when I was teaching a friend to crochet. I love my pastel sharpies! I love the paint pens too but I’ve misplaced my favourite colour and I’m in bits! I need to search. I have so many craft supplies everywhere it’s hard to keep track.
And some new notebooks in my life! I found the top notebook in the kids section of Cath Kidston. I’m always buying flower hair clips in shop sales with the intention of ripping the flowers off and creating magnets or push pins. There’s a little Cath Kidston earring there too that I’m going to take apart and create something!
Here, we have a seat thief. I was trying to work, honestly. I went to the printer, turned around and here she was!
This was just a pretty view from my desk.
You like? I copied this lettering style from Oh Baby app, well an advert for it. I wish I knew who the original illustrator was. The notebook is from a set of pastel Moleskine journals. They came in lilac, yellow and pink and I bought a set of square pages and lined pages! Moleskine notebooks are nice and all but I wish the pages were thicker. They bleed something crazy.
I put a pretty Cath Kidston label on the front (a christmas present or birthday present) and got doodling. That Cath Kidston bright pop pencil is so pretty! BUT, it’s super heavy so it’s not useful for decorative lettering. I try to be light but the pencil weighed a ton.
Practising… trying to practice!
This is one of those Sharpie paint pens I was talking about. I haven’t put on the second coat yet, I was waiting for them to dry and then they got buried under notebooks and planners!
