This is a blog and blogger dedicated to recycled style and it’s one of my new favourite blogs! I was so inspired I’ve got three new projects on my (goal) list of projects ‘To Make’. These vintage, coloured swing top bottles being used as vases were part of one of Katja’s Spring styling projects for Tyyli and Koti magazine, which I do believe is Finnish for ‘Home & Style’.
Does anybody know where on earth I can get little cards like this rose card?!
Stacked blankets are always going to be my absolute favourite images. Even seeing blankets stacked on a stool makes me feel cozy. After I write this post I think I might need to put the kettle on ^_^
Isn’t this a fabulous image? I adore those hangers. I can’t even express how much I love those hangers! Possibly because the vintage hangers available in Finland are totally different from those available in the United States and United Kingdom.
and book pages as wallpaper are one of the projects available in Katjas most recent book but I’m quite certain it’s not available for us or outside of Finland (which makes me sad).
This project got me so excited I almost cried. Katja found an old, vintage, hair dressers drying hood and turned it into a lamp. It’s the most incredible project I’ve ever seen!
and this is the Lisbeth Dahl mini version! I’d settle for that one!
These flowers are gorgeous! I would love to see what they’re in. Do you think it’s a florist frog? You know the type they use for graves? And my last question… are these Anemone flowers?
This image is actually from Katjas christmas table but it was so beautiful and warm I thought it was perfect for the autumn months too ^_^
All of the photographs here have such marvellous details and every time I look, I see something new!
Look at these drawers!! Do we have any Finnish speakers? What does this poster say?
Such a fantastic collection of glassware. Now I know that crates I was previously enquiring about were for glassware! And now I must do some searching ^_^
What a big collection of wallpaper! I love the big galvanised bin. I could do one of those too!
and I could do with a big giant bottle vase too because I want to make a lamp!
I want to make these but I’ve no idea how to do it and make it work! Anyone got any ideas?
And what a fabulous idea for DIY wall art! Some book pages of butterflies with the butterflies partially cut out and bent backwards.
And I’ve been obsessed with painted furniture this year and I love this shade of lilac.
