The Romantic Christmas Of Your Dreams!
I’m already, very excited about christmas! I’m especially excited about decorating my dining room. My decorations are a little more pastel cute than pastel shabby. I just get the two styles and smash them together. I love the shabby pastel style and when I found this styling by Indianna Foord for Homelife magazine, my jaw dropped. I was in love instantly and coveted all those fabulous dishes and that gorgeous silverware. The gifts are beautifully wrapped and I need to invest in some velvet ribbon.
I’ve considered dyeing my table-cloth with beetroot or strawberries, the dusky pink is beautiful but I’m not sure how well it would match with my slightly novelty decor.
I adore that gift wrap, the large pink onion bauble and that fabulous glassware.
Everything about this table styling is just perfect. I can only imagine how much all of that would cost to recreate. Way out of my budget. I do love the gold cup and saucer.
There’s also a few marvellous decor ideas for a kids table in the same room! That gold bowl is just wonderful. I always envy people s gingerbread icing skills.
How adorable are those little chairs? It’s so simple to add a little quirk to the shabby style and still make it work. This has given me a few ideas.
Look at that table! I just need to add touches of rose gold, vintage linens and dusky florals. It’s such a wonderful view. I’m rather obsessed with the idea of my dream shabby home, always full of beautiful, romantic, festive scenes like this in winter! I live in a fantasy world. I know.
How do you decorate for Christmas dinner? I have almost managed to recreate the shabby pastel Christmas style in my parents dining room. I must try to find some photos to share with you. I’m always happy when I have somewhere to decorate ^_^
