A Romantic Winter Apartment
I really enjoy perusing the Swedish real estate pages (seriously) and posts about Swedish apartments, I was in love as soon as I saw this image. This image sets a beautiful wintry scene. The colours are cool and serene, the candles, cushions and rugs make everything look so beautiful.
When I win the lottery, I need a Scandinavian fireplace just like this. Or, one of the tiled fireplaces I’ve seen in other apartments.
Is that a sewing box that I spy? It looks amazing! I love the wishbone shaped legs.
I just love how the furniture in this apartment suits every space. With a small apartment, I imagine that I would be against too many pieces of furniture or possessions, to give the illusion of space; but this has changed my mind! Use every nook and cranny to your advantage.
That coffee table is very retro and I like it a lot! I have considered a new coffee table for my own house but I can’t find a style that I like. I think I will hold on to my £12 ikea coffee table until I find a perfect second-hand version.
I like how there are two completely different styles of lamp and bedside table. Guess whose side is where! I might have to steal the ikea for a little ledge above the bed.
I am obsessed with trying to find a Capiz shell light fitting. One with a lot of shells and length. I am yet to find the perfect one!
I think this kitchen is rather fabulous. Tiny, but fabulous all the same. I’ve mentioned before on the blog about how much I love those big square sinks. I think they’re called ‘Belfast sinks’ but I could be wrong. Someone could have told me that because that’s where I live :p
What do you think of this apartment? Would you live here? I can’t believe how beautiful it is! Photos are from Behrer and Partners.
