A List Of My Favourite Etsy Back to School Essentials
It’s not long now until it’s officially back to school time, how everyone loves the sounds of that! Well, I thought I would try to make your experience/transition from couch to school a little bit easier. I have mentioned many times; stationery is my weak point. Since I recently, no longer need to buy it, it doesn’t mean that I don’t do bit of internet window shopping to have a look! So, I put together a list of the cutest back to school essentials to liven up your pencil-case and school books.
Mint!! I love mint. These gorgeous mint green pencils are from ACDShop, they are the perfect addition to your pencil-case. Not only are they pretty, they also have a cute reminder to keep your head up and keep working hard.
This USB stick from CloverPower is such a fun twist on a USB storage stick. If you are a big fan of adventure time (like Claire), then this is the perfect memory stick for you.
These retro style notebooks from DubuDumo are a little different than your average black notebook you get given in school. I love retro things. If your school don’t allow this style it, can also be used as a cute journal or a diary, somewhere to right down memories or thoughts.
If you are a crazy dog person (like I am about cats), then this is perfect for you. The tessellation background just adds something different and makes it unique. Plus there is an added bonus; its customisable with either your name or a special message!
This variety set from JnMstudio is a great set to buy, to fill up your pencil-case with a selection of different pens. You get a selection of drawing, writing, gel and marker pens. No need to buy all different packs, this one has it all.
I love these! Something different to your usual simple paperclips. This set of 20 paperclips from PetitePinkBoutique are a brilliant idea. You could use them to number chapters in a book, months or weeks in a planner or simply to just look cute.
Stamps!! Who doesn’t love stamps! These stamps are from PetitePinkBoutique and would be a great addition to your homework diary or planner collection, marking the days with the quote ’Today is OK’. You could even decorate your school exercise books with ‘Belongs to’. There are endless things you can do with stamps.
I have very long hair, so in school, hair ties and bands, were essential to get me through the day. Now these colourful headbands from PreppyPieces are something different to your usual brown or black ones. Not only are these adorable they are also a lot better for your hair, reducing breakage and damage. You can also use them to keep books closed and on art journals!
To me, these cute floral pencil cases scream Cath Kidston! We all know Claire feels about Cath Kidston, I feel the same! These gorgeous flower pencil cases from LittleBlossems can also be used as a cosmetic cases for your handbag or a makeup brush holder; so your brushes don’t get damaged rolling around in your handbag.
Now this is cute! This coffee cup sharpener is from TinyBees. A gorgeous essential for your back to school pencil-case. All your friends will want to steal it.
Who doesn’t love the look of macaroons? This adorable storage box from PetitePinkBoutique is great for your school PE bag. I remember in school having to take out your earrings and always popping them in my blazer to find later they had magically disappeared. It could also be used as a pill-box for your handbag, discrete yet cute.
This is a genius idea from Wrap Sodic. I don’t know about you, but the one pen holder on the side of a journal or Filofax is never enough for me! I am a colour co-ordinater! I have multiple pens, so this is perfect for me.
Cat lady alert! Don’t worry if you’re not a cat person, TheBookNookPatch have a variety of animals from birds, foxes to even narwhals!!! This could be used as a bookmark for your planner or even journal.
I have multiple pencil cases but this, I may have to purchase. These PVC pencil cases from TodTots are slightly more sophisticated than your usual pencil-case, perfect for work or even just to keep all your beautiful coloured pens for planning.
In school I was never a massive index card person, simply because all I owned were white and grey ruled cards, but if I had these, I think I would be more inclined to use them regularly! These rainbow coloured lined index cards from RainyDayColours are a brilliant idea to jazz up your work and revision notes.
