As always Tilda and panduro hobby have provided lots of sewing inspiration as promotion for the new book which isn’t available in the UK until a few days before christmas. I’ve only just received my copy of last years christmas book and luckily I’m still able to get pretty much all of the supplies I could possibly need for the projects and ordered myself some of the gorgeous gift wrap! Some shoe boxes are going to be made beautiful ^_^
I love the faux fur on all of the projects this year, and as always I really love the ‘Ice skates’, they’re adorable!
This little polar bear looks so adorable! For those of you who aren’t familiar with Tilda, there are many books available, unfortunately Tilda’s world website doesn’t get much attention or care from it’s creators but there are lots and lots of stitchers and sewers who love Tilda! I’m sure you could find lots of projects on pinterest and flickr.
Tilda is always producing great projects and fabrics and fabulous items to work with but christmas excites me so much and the Tilda range makes me giddy! I love the gift wrap and 3d effect of those gift tags.
an adorable little doll with the Tilda Sweet Christmas fabric fat quarter stack.
And here are some of the ideas of what you can make with the ‘Corner Shop’ range. What a beautiful patchwork pillow with some crazy quilting techniques! And isn’t that chair marvellous?!
The fur stocking is my favourite. I thought those were little sequins but I’m not wearing my glasses and I can’t tell. I like the patchwork, don’t get me wrong, i just love rubbing soft fabrics and materials on my face ( like a weirdo)!
You can buy Tilda items from many places but Panduro is your best bet as it produces the items.
