How beautiful do these roses look?! They’re so fluffy. I discovered the gorgeous blog; Vintage Sparkle chic and I just adore the whole house. The beautiful Shannon owns this blog and gorgeous home. It’s rather glamorous, french shabby chic and I love it.
This large living room is beautiful and I love all the furniture in this room. Everything is tied together beautifully! I really want the little side table that you can see beside the sofa. It’s tiered and would be perfect for me! Where on earth would I even begin to look for one of those?!
This chair is one of my favourite colours ever and Shannon takes her hand to painting and decorating lots of the lovely items around her home. The ‘Paris’ cushion looks absolutely perfect in this setting, especially beside that painted and stencilled suitcase. It all looks rather marvellous!
*gasp* isn’t this painted console table amazing?! The little pearl strung garland is a beautiful, decorative touch. I think this was part of Shannon’s christmas decor but I had to include it in this post; it was far too beautiful not to share with you. I must send an email and find out what paint she uses in her furniture projects!
I love these little baskets. I have featured one of these before in a post all about craft storage, one was being used to store rolls of vintage wallpaper. Can anyone tell me what this type of ‘trolley’ is called?
Shannon upholstered this chair herself. I am so very jealous of how talented this lady is! Her home looks amazing, full of repurposed and painted furniture that is just fabulous, in a French shabby style. I’m green with envy! Hold the phone…. can you grow peonies indoors?! What! Along with hydrangeas and lilacs… peonies and ranunculus are in my ‘top favourite flowers’. My aunt (who loves flowers and flower arranging) is fed up of hearing “that’s my favourite flower!” she asked last week how many favourites I have; currently it’s four.
A dream of a bedroom… beautiful colours, tones, that bed canopy crown is to die for. I think the corner needs a little decorative touch, maybe a ladder? It’s amazing. To my shame, my bedroom is awful. It really needs a huge makeover but I am so dismayed that I have decorating apathy. Maybe someone can come in and redecorate it for me?! If I ever managed to get a new carpet (it’s a rental home so I doubt it) I think I would cry.
I also wish I had a garden and a patio. Those fabric cushions are so beautiful that I would steal them. I would wait until Sharron was off making the tea and I would make a run for it :p I cannot be certain but I have a suspicion that sharon painted these stripes on the cushion. If she didn’t, I want to buy all that fabric.
Excuse me, while I scoop my jaw off the floor. Forget stealing things, I think I will just move in. Squatters rights! I really have to find out what colour that paint is! I’m going to go and paint everything; plant pots, my fabric cabinet. You name it, I’m painting it.
More of that beautiful ‘tiffany blue’ colour, it just looks perfect with those gorgeous pink roses. Head on over to Sharron’s blog, you will not be disappointed!
