Stunning Shabby Chic Decor Craft & Living Ideas
How many of you have a dedicated craft room? Or, do you just dream about having a craft room?
I was very lucky to get my large space that I quite honestly never thought I would get. Ever.
For years I was dreaming of spaces, and for years, my inspiration notebook was filled with craft room spaces just like Tamsyn’s old attic craft room. Isn’t it wonderful?
Tamsyn Morgans owns the excellent blog ‘the villa on Mount Pleasant”, and it is chock full of inspiring, shabby chic images of Tamsyn’s home.
For me, inspiration boards or mood boards are essential.
I have two boards and a mood board notebook! It’s all about inspiration.
I am always being inspired, and sometimes it feels just wonderful.
Today I was looking out the window, and it appeared to be raining cherry blossom petals, all against a bright blue sky and it was so cliché, but I felt so uplifted and inspired.
Perhaps this is why I’m so obsessed with baby pinks and blues?! Who knows. Either way, I loved it!
O_O this is Tamsyn’s new craft room. I have purchased some paint to repaint my vintage suitcase that resides in my living room on the coffee table.
Isn’t that great space beautiful? Honestly, my favourite part is the floor! And I love the dress makers dummy in the background with the sparkly brooches, (I love buying brooches in bulk/as job lot from eBay).
This shabby chic living room space is just divine! I wish I had discovered the whole world of vintage furniture before I had that brief love affair with Ikea! I want to invest in some great quality vintage pieces.
Some gorgeous and a dining. The flowers in the bowls are just a beautiful idea.
I adore these little cabinets and the china inside is stunning.
I decided to post this image to share how much I want those two blankets and that capelet. They’re divine! I’ve had beaded capelets saved as an eBay search for the longest time now, I can’t wait to dress like I live with Mr Gatsby.
In fact, I had SO many images that I loved from Tamsyn’s site that I had to do some serious cutting for this post. Instead, I will go Pinning crazy. There was just so much to love.
