A Shabby Craft Corner of my Craft Room
Today’s post is a peek into the other corner of my craft room. I was in love with the colour of these threads, coral is my favourite! The peach looks great too, now onto the shabby craft loveliness!
See the crochet hanger? It was an amazing gift from Manuela from bleu et rose! Manuela was kind enough to create a great crochet tutorial for a phone cover in the Handmade Happy craft magazine (you can view it for free on issuu). I was inspired by lots of lovely blogs I’ve featured recently to create a shabby little moodboard. I love it.
I love my crochet wall hanging! I love it!!!! I keep trying to find somewhere else to hang it so I can look at it all the time. I also do love my shabby moodboard.
I love this chair so much, it was a lucky find on gumtree but it’s the most uncomfortable chair you would ever want to sit on. It’s ok for a little while but not for long! I think I will start treating it as an antique now and making sure it stays in good condition.
When I found these fake flowers in a shop I had to buy them! They were a perfect colour to match my shabby moodboard which was all in my head at the time but they did work. I was hoping to remove some of the heads and create a pin for the pin board or a brooch style pin.
It’s a nice little space. The purple fabric is covering a radiator and I’ve recently purchased a cover to create an extra little shelf. I must remember to bleed the radiator first! Do you remember this craft room that I featured with the wallpaper covered drawers? Well, those are my drawers which are going to get the same treatment! I have several rolls to choose from so I will let you know how that goes. I am tempted to use that purple fabric but it has the most gorgeous texture so I’m loathed to use it.
This is the view on top of said drawers. At the back you can see a giant document box from Cath Kidston, an Ikea shelf organiser on top and my sewing machine under that cover. I’ve so many gorgeous tins and boxes that I want them on display but I realise I need to find a better place to put these! I use the cookie jar for storing pom poms ^_^
