Pretty Shabby DIY Projects
I adore this handmade shabby DIY project from h.espe blog. This is a gorgeous net, lace and chicken wire cover for cakes anything yummy. The wooden knob at the top of the cover was a great idea, you could find some rather jazzy crystal style door knobs for the top.
Those votive holders are rather beautiful too.
This wire chandelier is just fabulous! I’ve seen many of these over the years on Scandinavian blogs and now, thanks to the popularity of image sharing, (at least I think) some clever buyers have introduced them internationally. You can now buy them in stores here in the UK such as Cox and Cox.
I really adore the pearl trim that has been added to this chandelier! Holly and Leslie recently used one in their new book, Decorate with flowers.
Isn’t this cushion great? The floral fabric and pom-pom trim is so pretty. I’ve seen some napkins that are similar on eBay and I am very tempted to buy them! I actually love that stool, it’s so rustic and looks perfect within the rest of this decor.
This is a great DIY project! I have lanterns and scrap fabric! And ribbons! This would be a great project to hang on the balcony or porch, whatever you have! It would be great to add to your balcony decor and if you need some ideas, check out the Handmade Happy summer magazine for the Lu Loves Handmade article.
This wooden planter would be another great DIY project for your balcony or garden!
I really love these white ceramic vases! I want some!
This shabby decor is just gorgeous. Ties in perfectly with the rest of her home.
Black and neon gift wrap isn’t usually what I share on the blog but there is a huge reason! It is part of the black and neon tablescape and the place names were created using mini canvas and easel’s just like my little decoupage project in the Handmade Happy magazine!
