I realise that at first glance, this looks more like ‘cottage chic’ decor (like the mistake I made a few weeks ago) but I promise that the home of Manuela; the blogger behind Waldstrumpf blog has a home full of shabby chic delights!
I am completely in love with this vintage sewing desk! The greengate tins are on my wish list (of course) and this wall mounted storage is just wonderful! I see that there are little hooks on the side of the desk (I have done that too) for additional storage, it’s a really great idea. I manage to hang a mini ironing board off my hooks. It’s great to get some clutter off the floor. Is that a plate rack up there, holding the gift wrap supplies?
I thought that this worn desk was absolutely stunning and there are some items here I just adore; the vintage wire letter tray basket is just beautiful.
White and wonderful! With little touches of flowers. There is quite a lot of furniture in this room but I’m sure there’s definitely the space. The wall mounted shelf with all of the delightful little trinkets are just gorgeous. The panelling on the walls looks very effective. Is that a common thing in European houses?
Doesn’t the shelf look great? I see that little table lamp everywhere, I know it’s from ikea and I think I might have to buy one.
I love this view! That table looks completely handmade and it’s just marvellous! It looks great so close to that divine greengate style quilt.
I don’t trust my eyesight – is that a mini table with a decoupage top?
I have that bedding! And I’m definitely going to but those wall lamps. I have a bedroom just like this, only not as big. Very small in fact. That towel rail for hanging clothes is an amazing idea! I will be stealing that. Isn’t it just lovely? Waldstrumpf Blog.
