Shed Decor Book Review
If you’ve read this blog for any length of time, you will know that I love hideaways and havens and I think that a shed or even a caravan is a perfect place to make your own little dream space! I already have a craft room so I’m very lucky that I already have my own dream space but I do dream about having a garden and being able to sit in the sun/with the garden shed doors open incase I need to duck into some shade *sigh* so Sally Coulthard’s Shed Decor book is gorgeous and I love the little shed tours we are taken through.
This is my favourite shed! It’s basically a craft room in a shed, which is a perfect alternative if you don’t have the space in your house to have a craft room. The light is fabulous in this little shed and I would have painted the inside white to reflect the sun, that’s because I live in a grey country and don’t see vast amount of sunshine. The book is divided into 2 main sections. The first is Shed Decor Styles, which highlights some different ideas for your haven. There are a vast amount ideas in this book and I’ve only chosen my favourites to show you here but there would be a lot to interest any taste in decor.
If you don’t have a shed, this book is still very inspiring for different decor styles. People have basically used their shed as a room extension or a little guest room and decorated it as if it’s a part of the home. I desperately want a day bed like this!
I’m a fan of this shed but not the mounted head. Having a shed like this in Ireland is just a pipe dream, unless the weather improves all year round! If you’re in a warm country though I highly recommend treating yourself. Even if you’re not in a warm country, this book is great for inspiration!
This shed caught my eye because of the view, the white decor, that amazing mirror and the pretty patchwork blankets.
How fabulous is this? It’s a caravan and a shed! A shepherds hut? You can buy this book in stores now, do any of you have sheds or rooms to decorate?
