I’m always stunned at the beautiful simplicity in Scandinavian Christmas decor and how very beautiful it all looks! The living room is obviously the most important place in the home at Christmas, especially if you will be entertaining all of your family there so it has to be welcoming and marvellously decorated. I love how the vintage linens have been cut up to make a pretty, decorative, scrappy pennant banner!
It’s stunning right?!
The kitchen is also rather incredible! This week I spent some time taking down some of my usually decor that I have up all year round and replacing it with slightly more festive pieces. I switched out my greengate apron for my festive christmas apron I bought on mod cloth a few years ago which I love. I don’t cook at Christmas but I wear the apron and pretend lol it makes such a beautiful dress! Anyway, I got distracted :p
This is an incredible idea for christmas crafting! All you need is a styrofoam ball and some ribbon and you’ve made that bauble decoration.
A pretty paper punch, different gift wrap and some pretty bakers twine or string to make this pretty little heart garland to adorn your tree.
You know, I think that a plant is a wonderful gift (I would appreciate one anyway) especially if it was beautifully wrapped like that! I always receive a Poinsettia at this time of year I try my darndest to keep it alive for as long as I possibly can! We got to March this year so that wasn’t so bad right?!
